The early release of EA Sports College Football 25 has finally arrived. Almost a million people were online day one with hundreds of thousands more sure to follow.
NCAA Football games helped many teens in my generation have a greater awareness of the players around the sport. The new rendition is sure to do the same as now the players have their names in the game rather than just numbers.
If you don’t have the right console or $500 to slap down at a GameStop (shout out Roaring Kitty #neversell), you may not see the ratings for Ole Miss’ players this season. Now, let’s be honest the less than qualified people at EA Sports have only enough time to rate players and are bound to make some mistakes. Chris “Pooh” Paul coming in at an 81 after racking up 136 tackles and six sacks in two seasons at Arkansas... mmkay that’s an example.
There are a few absences from the Ole Miss roster, but without confirmation as to why, perhaps they will appear in an upcoming roster update. Here is a look at the Rebel depth chart according to EA:

Obviously the absence of Suntarine Perkins, Khari Coleman, Zxavian Harris, Matt Jones and Key Lawrence among others is interesting. We will keep an eye out for future roster updates or if players comment on choosing to opt out of the game.
