According to a report from 247Sports, Quinshon Judkins is in the transfer portal and considering a move from Ole Miss to a new school for his junior season.
National college football reporter Matt Zenitz tweeted the news Thursday morning as rumors have swirled over Judkins return to Oxford next season.

Clearly, this is huge news for this program, and it is obviously disappointing if Judkins departs from the roster. He is poised to potentially be a record breaking running back at Ole Miss, and maybe this is a move to try and get the best NIL deal possible for himself. Can’t fault anyone for wanting to do what’s best for their family.
It’s also part of how the new landscape of college football is working. Ole Miss’ NIL Grove Collective has raised a lot of money to try and get the best players possible for Lane Kiffin, and there was maybe not enough to go around in the running back room.
Just because Judkins is in the portal doesn’t mean he can’t decide to come back to the Rebels, but it would be interesting to see how that works for the locker room. There would undoubtedly be some questions about if the running back wants to really be there or not, no matter how good his relationships are.
If I’m Kiffin or on the coaching staff, I’d be planning for next season without Judkins, figuring out who is RB1 or where the best option is in the portal going forward.
