NFL week seven is officially in the books and former Rebel and current mayor of Starkville, AJ Brown, has the potential to do something that has never been done in the NFL before.
Brown is currently tied with Calvin Johnson and Pat Studstill for most consecutive games of 125+ yards receiving at 5. He reached that feat by hauling in 10 catches for 137 yards and a touchdown on 15 targets.
Evan Engram had five catches for 45 yards on Thursday night, but has yet to find the endzone this year.
Dawson Knox had one catch for 10 yards on three targets in the Bills loss to New England.
DJ Jones had three tackles including one for a loss in the Broncos win over Green Bay.
It was a quiet week outside of Brown dominating the Dolphins. DK Metcalf was out with injury and the Rams opted to bring Darrell Henderson Jr. off the couch rather than give Zach Evans an opportunity.
