Here’s how Ole Miss baseball will line-up against Vanderbilt tonight in Hoover

Mike Bianco announces his starting pitcher for first double elimination game.

Ole Miss baseball will begin the double elimination portion of the SEC Baseball Tournament against Vanderbilt around 8 p.m.

Head coach Mike Bianco released his line-up via Twitter, including the starting pitcher Derek Diamond.

Freshman centerfielder TJ McCants will look to continue his phenomenal season in the leadoff tonight. Rebel captain Tim Elko will take his torn ACL in the designated hitter role yet again.

There’s not a lot of surprises here, the only real question was who would pitch against the Commodores. Diamond struggled in his appearance earlier this season against Vandy, being outdueled by one of the best pitchers in the nation in Jack Leiter.

Grab some cold ones, maybe some caffeine, and let’s see what Ole Miss can cobble together as it continues what looks to be a long row to hoe to get back into the national seed conversation.

The game will be televised on the SEC Network. The winner of this game will likely play Arkansas who is up 10 runs currently against Georgia. The Bulldogs will face the loser of the primetime matchup.
