Ole Miss football announced on Tuesday that the 2021 Grove Bowl will be played Saturday, April 24th at 4pm CST, presented Mississippi HomeCare.
Lane Kiffin and the Rebels are coming off a 5-5 campaign and an Outback Bowl victory and are looking to build off that in year two. Ole Miss returns starting quarterback Matt Corral, the reigning leader in total offense in 2020 and offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby who was courted by both Auburn and UCF before ultimately deciding to stay in Oxford for another go-round.

The important thing to note here with the date that has been selected is that it pairs nicely with the Rebels’ home baseball series against the Louisiana State Tigers. The baseball game on Saturday has been bumped up to 12pm CST to accommodate those that will want to enjoy both on a wonderful spring day in Oxford.
Mike Bianco’s program is currently ranked No. 1 in D1Baseball’s poll after a dominating weekend in Arlington, Tex. at the State Farm College Baseball Showdown at Globe Life Field, defeating top-10 Big 12 programs on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Despite the attendance policy being abbreviated for now, the current COVID-19 numbers are reflecting more and more progress in terms of infected rates within the state of Mississippi with the newly available vaccination.
See y’all out there hopefully!
