Ole Miss basketball will look to bounce back and get its first SEC win against an Auburn team also struggling early on in conference play.
The Rebels (5-3, 0-1 SEC) and Tigers (6-4, 0-2 SEC) tip at 8 p.m. with Auburn led by a trio of guards and Ole Miss led by senior guard Devontae Shuler.
Two years ago, the Rebels swept the Tigers, and then Auburn returned the favor last season as Ole Miss struggled all season. Perhaps the hold over players from last year will be extra motivated for some revenge as the Tigers are most likely reeling from a last second loss at Texas A&M on Saturday.
Ole Miss will be donning powder blue jerseys tonight for the first time this season. They look fresh as hell of course.
Surprisingly, the Rebels are favored by seven at home, but with Bruce Pearl still at the helm at Auburn, I’m not counting on Ole Miss to cover in what will likely be a very close basketball game.
