Ole Miss basketball stomped through UNC Wilmington on Saturday 78-58 as transfer Romello White dropped 20 points in his second game as a Rebel.

The Rebels (2-0) grabbed a 20 point lead by halftime and maintained it throughout the remainder of the game. Senior Devontae Shuler chipped in 18 points on 7 of 15 shooting from the floor and notched six assists.

Luis Rodriguez posted one of his best and most productive games as a Rebel with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Rodriguez missed most of last season with an injury but showed he has been hard at work rehabbing for this season.

It was the second 20-plus point win in as many games for Ole Miss. Twelve Rebels saw playing time Saturday with the team shooting 51 percent from the field and posting a +14 rebounding margin.

Defensively the Rebels tied up Jaylen Sims to only 13 points after he entered the game averaging 27 points per game. The Seahawks (3-3) fell to .500 on the year in its first ever game against Ole Miss in basketball.

Next up for Ole Miss is a third straight home game against Central Arkansas on Monday at 7pm on the SEC Network.
