Coming into this season, it seemed like the only way the team could conceivably make a bowl was to start off 3-0. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened, but there are still foreseeable futures that see the Rebels bowling.
The offense has two significant playmakers in Scottie Phillips and Elijah Moore. It features a quarterback with absurd arm strength and raw talent. The defense looks like it knows what’s going on, which is a great statement relative to where things stood a year ago. The offensive line...exists.
It’s just that the remaining slate is pretty tough. For your reference, here’s what the Rebels have left on the schedule, currently sitting at 1-1.
