Ole Miss head football coach Lane Kiffin has boots on the ground.
After being officially announced on Saturday afternoon as the next hire for the Rebels, the 42-year-old phenom landed at Oxford-University Airport on Sunday night to a red carpet reception.
It went down the only way it could.

It began with a tweet from the man himself. He was en route.
And then the people flooded.
As only Rebel nation can, it became a party.
Turns out, in the most Oxford move possible, someone threw a party at their personal hanger at the Oxford Airport, waiting on Lane Kiffin’s arrival https://t.co/DD3IEsUe6R— Nathanael Gabler (@nategabler) December 8, 2019
The crowd continued to grow.
Nightfall soon came, but not a single person was to leave until wheels hit the tarmac.

The new kingpin of Ole Miss football had arrived, and it was epic.
After being met by the masses, Kiffin turned focus to the future, and offered gratitude.
Kiffin will formally be introduced to the public on Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Pavilion, where snacks and HALF-PRICED BEER will be served. Take off from work early, find yourself a designated driver, and give him a proper Oxford welcome.
