Ole Miss vs. Butler 2019: Time, TV schedule, and online streaming

Ole Miss Men’s Basketball-Twitter

Ole Miss has a massive opportunity tonight against the No. 24 Butler Bulldogs in Oxford at The Pavilion. This is only the second ranked non-conference opponent to face the Rebels in Oxford at their brand-spanking new arena in its short history.

The Rebels (5-2) will have to bounce back big-time tonight after its last game. Kermit Davis’ team suffered a blowout loss to Oklahoma State in the championship game of the NIT Season Tip-Off in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Much of that bounce back will land squarely on the shoulders of guards Devontae Shuler and Breein Tyree who at best were streaky in the NIT tournament last week. Tyree scored 18 points in the second half of the Penn State win to help mount a 21-point comeback, but he went scoreless in the first half.

Shuler struggled offensively in both games but should hopefully see better production in the friendly confines of his home court.

Bryce Nze, Kamar Baldwin, and Sean McDermott all average scoring output is in double figures for the Bulldogs this season. In my opinion, Nze is going to most likely follow the trend we’ve seen in these more competitive games and play well against our less-experienced bigs, Sammy Hunter and Khadim Sy.

Tonight is also Powder Blue Night at the Pavilion so dress accordingly.

And on top of that, they’re honoring Ole Miss great and former All-American Johnny Neumann with these awesome Club Red t-shirts. Get there early and be loud, y’all.
