Ole Miss’ 38-17 win over Kent State was about as dull of a football game as you could watch. Penalties and sloppy play sent things to halftime tied at 7 and a pair of lightening delays meant the final whistle didn’t blow until nearly five hours after kickoff. This was not a fun thing to watch.
There was, however, a brief crackling of energy midway through the third quarter, when the Rebels’ superstar wide receivers combined for two of the most entertaining plays you’ll see all day.
DaMarkus Lodge started the party by hurdling a helpless defender...
On the very next play, D.K. Metcalf casually hauled in a 41-yard touchdown with one damn hand.

Why use two hands when one will do? ✋#nWo #HottyToddy @dkmetcalf14 pic.twitter.com/WR1owvgRVo
