Terence Davis withdraws from NBA Draft, will return for senior year

Welcome back, fam.

POLISH UP THOSE BASKETBALL RIMS NICE AND SHINY...

Terence Davis is going to be back and ramma slam jam bamming on those orange metal circles for the 2018-2019 season, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

The rising senior out of Southaven, Miss. has been the leading scorer for Ole Miss the past two seasons with a chaotic way about him. He is in control and out of control at all times, barreling his way into fast breaks and looking for the big play to spark runs at all times.

Davis tried to see what the NBA could potentially offer him as the draft looms next month but decided not to sign an agent. He even logged some tryouts reportedly with teams of interest. Ultimately, the chance to come back to Oxford for another run at the NCAA tourney with his red and blue comrades and to see what new coach Kermit Davis could accomplish was the deciding factor for him.

T.D. will be one of two seniors on the team alongside juco transfer Bruce Stevens. Undoubtedly, he will be a starter for Coach Davis’ first year team in Oxford.

You certainly can’t coach experience, and T.D. has more of it than any returning. His seemingly endless up tempo mentality and work ethic will anchor a team that will have at least four new players joining the squad.

Welcome back, my dude.
