No. 6 Ole Miss (37-13, 14-11) takes care of business Thursday night, ousting Auburn (35-15, 13-12) with a 5-4 win, and setting up a big-time matchup against Casey Mize on Friday night where the Rebs can either take the series or the Tigers can even things up. The skinny right now is that Mike Bianco’s club has positioned themselves for a potential HUGE weekend where they can make a statement to the committee and the rest of the SEC that they are a force to be reckoned with, non-conference strength of schedule be damned.

Better get to Swayze early tomorrow. It should be a doozy.

Go see Greg before the Rebs take on Auburn in game two and/or snag some choice meat to grill out for graduation from LB’s Meat Market, the official sponsor of this here podcast and the best protein for your Ole Miss baseball grilling needs. Also, the BRAND SPANKIN’ NEW food truck will be out and about on The Square and at Solftball. So go get some!

And if you like gambling and good food, head down south to Biloxi after this weekend’s series to Harrah’s Gulf Coast for some blackjack, slots, and good Southern cooking from our good friend, Kelly English, at the Magnolia House. What’s not to like? Winning money, drinking, indoor/outdoor sports bar, STARBUCKS, and our pal Kelly whipping stuff up in a crock pot probably. Go down to the Coast and tell em Red Cup sent ya!
