HELLO.
Yaboi OMTB is low on funds, his bank is near broken, things are not well. This tournament... the bookies have got to be feeling it this year.
When the bad beats are killing you though, you don’t pack up and quit. You gotta stay the course and stack up those bands again.
So we know our Rebels aren’t involved in any postseason play other than FIFA tournaments at their apartments, but we got a Sweet 16 launching in just a couple days.
And, oh baby, there’s some lines out there for you to jump on, make approximately the gross domestic product of Tonga on these bets, then go to Tonga and buy everything.
LETS GET WITH THE PICKS
THURSDAYS ARE FOR THE ZAGS
Florida State vs Gonzaga (-5.5) - This ain’t John Stockton’s Gonzaga. The Bulldogs have piled up a 32-4 record, and they played a very solid out of conference schedule. They’ve got five players averaging over 10 points per game, and the ‘Noles have shown they are very hot and cold in my opinion. Take the Zags to beat that 5.5 points.
NEVADA THE HOME OF BETTING
Loyola Chicago vs Nevada (-2) - The Wolfpack showed some guts in a very tight game against Texas, logging extra minutes to dispatch of Mo Bamba and Shaka Smart, Then they went absolutely Jack Nicholson in ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ nutso balls to the wall and charged a ridiculous comeback against Cincinnati to win by two. Loyola, it’s been fun, but the ‘Pack have luck on their side.
FRIDAY PAYDAY
Syracuse vs Duke (-11.5) - This line is just too fat for a Sweet 16 game. Syracuse has shown what slowing the game down and that nasty 2-3 zone does to elite basketball teams that aren’t prepared. Coach K will have his guys prepared, but the won’t be able to speed up this game enough to win by 12. It’s March. It’s Madness, but the ‘Cuse keep it closer in a loss.
Texas Tech vs Purdue (-1.5) - It’s a straight up coin flip. Both teams have had head scratching losses, impressive wins, and it should be an absolutely phenomenal basketball game. Gun to my head (yeah, by how much I owe my Panamanian bookie, it could be a real life scenario for yaboi)... I’m going Tech to take this one due to the injury to Isaac Haas for Purdue. A fractured elbow may cause the end for the ‘Makers, so if you know his doctor, please slide up in my DM’s for some insider info.
You need a jet-ski in your life. Your baby girl wants a pony. Your wife keeps searching for that new Louis V on re-sale sites, because you worry about paying retail.
GO GET THAT MONEY.
