Podcast Rebellion XXL: Baseball is good and Kermit Davis is...also good?

The haters, of which there are many, have come to hear our baseball taeks and the tea lizard predictions.

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

Another week, another dominant performance from the Diamonsharks. Since losing a shitty, weird game to Long Beach State, Ole Miss has taken out their frustrations on anything and everyone that has gotten in their way. Tuesday was a tight game that really good teams win on the road and then yesterday’s hit barrage was another example of how good teams beat bad teams the way they’re supposed to beat them.

Now, the good guys turn their attention to SEC play and the Tennessee Volunteers. Who are very bad. Ben and Nick join the show, per usual, to give their taeks from all the happenings in Decatur, Ga. this week. And we also have a new segment where our very own Gray Hardison gives his taeks despite not seeing a single pitch of baseball this season.

This week’s XXL edition dives deep into the basketball hire of Middle Tennessee’s Kermit Davis and how we feel, now that we have all settled down. All four of us have our reservations about his ability to recruit at a high level, but as we discuss, if his assistants are what they are expected to be by most insiders, it could very well work out.

We also shame Nick for putting ketchup and ketchup only on his hot dogs. Smh.
