Ole Miss is home this Saturday to face something called the “Warhawks.” If you or anyone you know has information about what a Warhawk is, please email Red Cup Rebellion immediately.
On paper, Ole Miss should sweat just slightly through this affair, assuming the damn offense can get back on track. Jordan Ta’amu and the Rebs have struggled bad in two conference match-ups against Alabama and LSU, to say nothing of a defense that is giving up an average of 500-plus yards per game. Those games include shaky wins over Kent State and Southern Illinois, which should not have been shaky at all.
Here is an opportunity to smooth out kinks that emerged against Bama and LSU, to fiddle with the playbook, and re-learn how to play defense. We write that last clause with a completely straight face.
A second-straight week that throws your viewing/drinking/eating schedule into total whack.
