Podcast Rebellion: Ole Miss must commit to basketball or it will never work

Associated Press Sports reporter David Brandt joins to talk all things basketball, recruiting, baseball, and facial hair.

As our dear friend, Ulysses Everett McGill, once said, “DAMN! We’re in a tight spot.”

The Rebels lost to a top 15 Auburn team last night who now stands at a sparkling 20-2 and 8-1 in the Southeastern Conference. The Rebs are sitting at 11-11 and 4-5 in the conference after dropping their first home SEC game. But, despite the streak and the nine-point loss, things are looking pretty bleak.

So in order to brighten things up, we bring our dear friend and important AP writer, David Brandt, on the show.

On this week’s episode, we talk about the future of the Ole Miss program on the hardwood, where to go from here, what it would look like without Andy Kennedy, and who could possibly follow-up the winningest coach of all-time, does the buyout affect things moving forward, will Jeffrey Vitter and Ross Bjork ride this contract out for the next two years? We also talk a little about recruiting, facial hair, and baseball.
