Podcast Rebellion: Charlie Potter thinks Ole Miss covers this weekend

247Sports and Bama Online reporter joins to discuss Bama’s “struggles” on defense and their new-look offense.

The bye week has come and gone and the Rebels are still 2-1 on the year. But the party is over because they are barreling into the belly of the daggum beast in Tuscaloosa, Ala. to take on No. 1 Alabama in primetime on ESPN. The Tide dominated Vanderbilt last weekend and Ole Miss is coming off a tough loss to Cal and is dealing with plenty of injuries and complications on both sides of the ball. Something tells me it’s going to be a long night on Saturday.

On this week, we’re joined by our good friend Charlie Potter from 247Sports. We talk about Alabama’s defense and how weird it is that their sack numbers are down under Jeremy Pruitt. He also gives his take on how they will go about defending Shea Patterson and his plethora of talented pass-catchers. And speaking of Pruitt, we discuss the possibility of him throwing his name in the proverbial hat for the Ole Miss job next year and how he thinks he would do as a head coach.
