We’ve checked in on Damore’ea Stringfellow and his sideline theatrics, as well as Laquon Treadwell’s glitzy headwear. How are a pair of other pro Rebels doing, though? So glad you asked.
On Friday, the Pittsburgh Steelers met the New York Giants in an NFL preseason game. Pittsburgh won, 20-12, and that was in part due to the Steelers’ stingy defense. A defense that includes one Mike Hilton, formerly of the Ole Miss Rebels’ secondary, formerly of the 2015 Chucky Mullins Award.
Now, we know that it’s only the NFL preseason, and we know that the Giants’ starting front five are either sitting or a bit rusty, and we know that Geno Smith probably doesn’t have the best pocket vision in the league, but this is an absolutely devastating own. Like, look at this thing.

Not entirely clear what reserve RB Orleans Darkwa (No. 26) is up to here, but it sure ain’t pass protection on the right. Hilton delays his blitz just long enough to lure Darkwa out of position and Geno into a false sense of pocket security before laying down the pipe. Not bad.
Elsewhere, come check out Quincy Adeboyejo making a routine touchdown catch in Ravens camp, but, like, SET TO EPIC METALLIC ORCHESTRAL MUSIC.

Yeah, he skied over veteran CB Brandon Boykin for that one. Not bad, not bad at all.
