Podcast Rebellion: A former hoops staffer previews next season and talks life with A.K.

Kory Keys joins to talk expectations for next season, learning from Andy Kennedy and we lay Coop DeVille to rest.

After taking some time away from the podcast, we are back and at it again, but this time we’re stepping away from football and the NCAA mess to talk about the Basketbearz. You might be like me and need a break from all the hoopla surrounding Hugh Freeze, Houston Nutt being an idiot and the NCAA dragging their feet about pretty much everything so here you go.

On this week’s episode, we welcome in Kory Keys, former Ole Miss basketball graduate assistant, to discuss how he thinks next season’s team will look, what he learned coaching under Andy Kennedy and he undergoes a Podcast Rebellion lightning round that covers just about everything.

We discuss the newcomers to keep an eye like Devontae Shuler, Bruce Stevens and graduate transfer Markel Crawford, what to expect from former Drake big man Dominik Olejniczak, just how guard heavy Kennedy can go and who Kory’s breakout player of the year will be. We also discuss traffic issues at Ole Miss, Coop DeVille (R.I.P.), television and Kennedy Era all-star teams.
