What a time.

In case you missed it last night in the wee hours of the evening, Ole Miss put the clamps down on a four-star U.S. Army All-American quarterback and flipped him from the clutches of Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators.

Well, if you missed it, you were one of the few who did. Twitter went up in flames last night after Matt Corral announced his verbal pledge to Matt Luke and Phil Longo during their in-home visit with the Elite 11 finalist. And I’m talking about the good flames. The flames that are the start of a good fire. Like a fire that means that you might somehow backdoor a top 30 class.

Some highly-ranked recruits took notice, current players were abuzz about the newest Rebel commit, wide receivers coach Jacob Peeler demanded more, and even an NFL Reb chimed in.

What a time y’all.

And it wasn’t just the croots who were stoked on the Twitterverse, the current Rebel players were certainly excited for Jordan Ta’amu’s successor.

And then you know the G.O.A.T. himself, the originator of WRU and the nWo had to give his $0.02 after the good news rolled in.

And speaking of the nWo, Coach Peeler demands to know who else wants to join his crew and shatter records and take big ole dumps on box scores.

Oh, you didn’t think the staff would chime in? PIPE IT UP!

But, GOLDEN CORRAL wasn’t done. Before he signed off for the night out West in California, he made sure Rebel Nation knew that he and the rest of the 2018 class is just getting started.

Hey, NCAA, go fuck yourselves. We ain’t going anywhere.
