Ole Miss faces off with Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday, and the Rebels are going to be sporting some fancy new headwear. Check out these pretty items:

The Ole Miss cursive script has been filled in with stars and stripes, in honor of the US military and this year’s Warrior Week. Various events have been ongoing this week in the lead-up to Saturday’s game, and service members will get free admittance to the men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader on Friday night and Saturday’s game at Vaught-Hemingway.
Here’s too a cool way to celebrate these service members’ contributions:
Student Veterans and ROTC members will serve as honorary captains, participate in the coin toss and lead the Rebels as they run onto the field, waving various military service flags.
This is a great and important gesture on the part of the athletics department, and for them to do so with the team’s helmets creates an immediate point of reference for Ole Miss Warrior Week.
