Sure, athletics director Ross Bjork draws it out a bit longer than he should, but Luke’s walk-up and speech are totally inspiring. Who knows what the future of Ole Miss football holds. Who knows what the NCAA Committee on Infractions will hand down. Luke strapped this team to his back, banded these guys together, and legged out a 6-6 record. There’s something to be said for that.

He made these guys trust him and one another. And they won six games. Including an Egg Bowl. They could have just lay down and forgotten about it, but they didn’t. And that’s because of Luke.
