Ole Miss hosts Texas A&M in Oxford Saturday night, and literally no one knows what’s going to happen here. The Rebs are favored by three, sure, but that makes this one basically a pick ‘em, since a three point cushion at home is standard among college football betting lines.
We’ve previewed the hell out of this game. We’ve podcasted ourselves to death (twice, but that’s a totally different story). We’ve written in the style of Faulkner and received an answer in kind. It’s been a great week with the boys over at Good Bull Hunting, our favorite SB Nation college blog not named Red Cup Rebellion.
The main inflection points of Saturday’s game involve Ole Miss’ offense over and against the Aggies’ defense. There currently exists an 11-point differential in favor of the Rebs between these two units, and so it’ll be interesting to see how much cover fire Jordan Ta’amu and company can lay down to stifle the inevitability of the Ags running roughshod all over Ole Miss’ lamentable rush D.
Below is all you need to know to watch Kevin Sumlin and Matt Luke do battle in the Vaught on Saturday night. It’s gonna rain, like, a lot.
