Taking on the entire state of Alabama in consecutive weeks feels kind of mean, but that’s where we are. No. 1 Alabama completely annihilated Ole Miss last week, and now the Rebsharks are tasked with facing No. 12 Auburn. It may very well end poorly for Matt Luke’s outfit.
This game is appropriately kicking off in the 11 a.m. CT spot, when you’re still dim enough from Friday night that pain is something of an abstract concept. Or maybe you’re still asleep, in which case, well done. If you’re physically at the game, we’re sorry.
Check out Will’s preview over here; it’s as ever very excellent analysis, but it’s also somewhat depressing, because he makes the case a little too well that Auburn is a good football team. Further, study up on Ole Miss’ offensive woes with Gray’s film review, which I look forward to editing every week. They’re perky, hilariously, and utterly informative. Finally come watch me thrash about as I move painfully through FLIM FLAM, the worst thing I’ve ever read.
