What the hell was that all about, huh? Ole Miss completely dominated Vanderbilt and won a football game. And scored 57 points in 60 minutes. Not bad if the numbers are correct. Shea Patterson and Marquis Haynes earned themselves SEC Player of the Week nods and the defense was flying around and having fun, holding Vanderbilt enough to give way to the offense and their Longo Ball clinic. But is it sustainable?
On this week’s episode, we chat about the good and the bad of Saturday’s revenge win over the ‘Dores. Shea is running away with the passing yards title in the SEC, A.J. Brown is going to be very rich very soon, D.K. Metcalf posterized some poor chap, and the defense was sack happy. But, there are still concerns when it comes to short-yardage play-calling, defensive backs finding the football, and some innovation in the run game. Nevertheless, the Rebs are 3-3 overall and 1-2 in conference and are heading into the homestretch with a few more winnable games left. Can things get weird?
