Ole Miss vs. Georgia football 2016: Time, TV schedule, and online streaming

The Rebs and Bulldogs kick off at 11 a.m. CT, but you already knew that.

This time last week, a sort of twitchy anticipation attended waking up on game day, what with Alabama in Oxford and Chad Kelly champing at the bit to repeat the previous two years’ magic.

This Saturday, however, feels significantly different. A brooding sort of “let’s do this already” has descended upon Ole Miss football, which has taken its fair share of licks this season. Injuries, youth at key positions, and a wobbly offensive front have sent the Rebel faithful’s emotions careening off in all directions.

But on Saturday, Ole Miss gets former Nick Saban assistant Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs, who’ve had a rough couple of weeks against Nicholls State and Missouri after looking pretty damn competent against a solid UNC squad in Week 1. Rookie quarterback Jacob Eason has demonstrated real talent behind center, but Smart still considers him too short in the tooth to have him chucking all over the field.

Nick Chubb is of course still Nick Chubb, but he ain’t running behind the likes of a #ROLLTIDE blocking package. Smart’s defense is still a work in progress, and at least one Bulldog will have to sit the first half after a vicious and unnecessary targeting penalty incurred last week. Look at this trash:
