The refs missed a block in the back and handed Alabama a TD

Oh but I thought Ole Miss was the only one that lucked out.

With Ole Miss leading 24-10 with about a minute left in the first half, an overly-conservative third-down call by Hugh Freeze led to a punt. That punt was housed by Bama for an 85-yard touchdown to cut the Rebel lead to seven.

But wait, there were two flags on the play. Surely one was for a block in the back, right?

Instead, the refs ignored the block in the back and called both penalties on Ole Miss, letting the touchdown stand. In fairness, it was close and at full speed it could be seen as a glancing blow to the shoulder. But the replay shows that the block whiffed on the shoulder and landed squarely on the back.
