Come write about Ole Miss football for Red Cup Rebellion!

We’re just a couple weeks away from college football season, and in order to continue to make this an excellent place for free Ole Miss coverage, analysis and discussion, we’re looking to expand our staff.

Specifically, we're looking for a solid writer who can imbue their work with a unique voice and discuss Ole Miss sports in a clear, conversational manner that’s easily relatable to other fans. Previous experience in producing digital content is a bonus, but not a requirement.

The position is unpaid, though stipends may become available down the road.

Here are a few other things that make a good contributor:

• Availability to write a minimum of two posts per week. Availability on weekends (particularly game days) is a huge plus but not a requirement.
• Solid knowledge of Ole Miss sports, particularly football. With that said, we’re looking for writing and analytical skills first, sports knowledge second, so don’t be scared off just because you can’t recite the entire depth chart from memory.
• Fluency in social media, specifically Facebook and Twitter.
