It didn't take long for Laquon Treadwell to find his way into an acting role. According to The Undefeated's Kelly L. Carter, the former Ole Miss Rebel and current Minnesota Viking is among 17 current and former NFL players scheduled to share the screen with The Rock in HBO's sports agent drama, "Ballers."
For those not in the know, it's a show about a retired NFL star (played by The Rock) who, in his quest for post-football relevance, launches a sports agency. I can't claim to have watched it, but this will probably change my mind. There's no word on which episode(s) Treadwell will show up in.
Other notable names scheduled to appear in the second season are Ndamukong Suh, Terrell Suggs, Wes Welker, Sean Payton, Greg Jennings and Jarvis Landry. So yea, a pretty sweet deal for Treadwell's marketable #brand.
This is all starting to make a lot more sense...
