4-star LB David Luafatasaga flips from Ole Miss to Utah, per report

In a brutal turn of events for the Ole Miss defense, four-star David Luafatasaga has flipped to Utah on National Signing Day, according to Yancy Porter. It's the third blow of the afternoon on that side of the ball: blue chip defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons and Jonathan Kongbo also spurned the Rebs, choosing Mississippi State and Tennessee, respectively.

Ole Miss needs linebackers in a bad way. C.J. JohnsonDenzel Nkemdiche, and Christian Russell all graduated this past year, leaving Demarquis Gates as the only linebacker on the Rebel roster with any real SEC-caliber playing experience. Luafatasaga figured to compete for a starting job right off the bat.

Five-star linebacker Mique Juarez is technically still in play, though it sounds as if UCLA is the school to beat. If he doesn't pick the Rebs, Ole Miss has MAJOR questions at linebacker heading into 2016.

This class is still loaded on offense, but it seems the Rebel staff really missed on a chance to load up on the other side of the ball.
