Ole Miss players and recruits react to the NCAA allegations

They don't seem too worried tbqh

Kelly Lambert-USA TODAY Sports

Friday afternoon, just as recruits were pulling onto campus for the Rebels' mega-recruiting weekend, news broke that Ole Miss has been formally issued some 30 allegations by the NCAA, the long-awaited result of a three-year investigation. Not the best timing if you're Hugh Freeze.

Still, don't expect this to have any major fallout on National Signing Day. The coaching staff, knowing this was coming, had already been cutting recruiting visits in order to mitigate eventual punishment and, according to our sources, have been very up front with recruits about the investigation. All that to say, this didn't come as a surprise for any of the parties involved.

Top QB recruit Shea Patterson, who's already on campus as an early enrollee, doesn't sound too worried.

Neither do these current Rebel players...

... or these former players.
