Laremy Tunsil's stepdad alleges improper benefits, recruiting violations

Lindsey Miller, who told The Clarion-Ledger he's already met with an NCAA investigator, is piling on more allegations.

How bout crawling out of your drunken, holiday weekend stupor for some good ole 'crootin violation allegations! In case you missed it, the stepdad of Ole Miss left tackle Laremy Tunsil  told The Clarion-Ledger late last week that he has the inside scoop on all kinds of NCAA infractions.

From Riley Blevins:

But on Thursday, [the stepdad, Lindsey Miller] alleged to The Clarion-Ledger that in addition to the contact made by agents, he is aware of violations that occurred during Tunsil's recruitment as well, including claims of falsified academic records and gifts made by the university.

Miller also alleges that the agents have provided Tunsil with other benefits outside of transportation, including gifts of cash, clothes, help with car insurance payments and more.

Whatever Miller's telling the C-L, he's also probably telling the NCAA. Miller confirmed to Blevins that he met with an NCAA investigator for a three-hour interview last Friday.

Miller's allegations against his stepson have been piling up pretty damn quick since the two were arrested for assaulting one another two weeks ago. It started with Miller telling police that Tunsil was with NFL agents before and after the fight, then ratcheted up when Miller gave photos of his bruised, post-fight face to TMZ. I'm not going to just assume Miller is lying -- it's completely possible that all of these allegations are true -- but he does seem more and more like a man on a mission to tear the whole damn house down.
