Podcast Rebellion 1.27: Why so serious?

Borkberry discuss all of the recent vitriol that has been spewed within the Golden Egg Universe and if it's too serious or nah.

The Southeastern Conference Media Days have come and gone with not much to report. Well, I lied. Dan Mullen wore Yeezys and Bret Bielema wore Air Force 1s. So, yeah, that was awesome. Other than that, nothing happened. Just a bunch of people that are "really excited for this season" and in "phenomenal shape from the off-season program" and also are "going to have to lean on their seniors to lead them".

Now on to the more important stuff: RIVALRY HATE. After media days, Hugh Freeze and his fellow SEC coaches traveled up to the gorgeous Bristol, Conn. (probably zero humidity and gluten-free stuff, probably) to do interviews with various peeps from the mothership, ESPN. During an interview with the always 100% correct and on time Joe Schad, Freeze mentioned that he still keeps in touch with a certain Mississippi State defensive tackle.

RIOTS HAVE BROKEN OUT ON THE INTERWEBZ

Is this a big deal? Should I go set a car on fire in the parking lot? Do you even care, bro? The Egg Bowl Twitter World was rocked yesterday. Angered. Distraught if you will. But, have no fear, we here at Podcast Rebellion are here for the full breakdown. And also these things, too:

  • Can you name five quarterbacks in the SEC?
  • Is the entire Vanderbilt football team taking a redshirt year?
  • Will Josh "Space" Dobbs ever grow his eyebrows back? Can he grow his eyebrows back?
  • Is J.K. Scott the best punter ever in the history of punting?
  • Why didn't Jeremy Johnson play last year, PAWWWWL?!
  • Do you have your North Dakota State at Montana watch party planned yet?
