Podcast Rebellion 1.17: Who churns out the most NFL-ready talent?

Borkberry recap the NFL Draft, talk Diamond Egg Bowl and answer your mailbag questions.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The 2015 NFL Draft has come and gone and the Ole Miss Rebels had only one player drafted. But, several signed free agent contracts and others earned camp tryout invites to try and make a roster. The lone player drafted, Senquez Goslon, joins Donte Moncrief as the second player drafted in the Hugh Freeze era. Will the others make a roster and be able to join the other NFL Rebs?

Now that the Rebels have returned home from Missouri after losing two of three, this weekend is a humongous series for the Diamondbearz postseason hopes. Still sitting top 40 in the RPI and a No. 3 seed in the Coral Cables Regional according to D1Baseball, the Rebels are still benefiting from the No. 1-ranked strength of schedule and series wins over Florida and Vanderbilt. Mississippi State is really struggling of late, but it is sure to be an entertaining series thanks to the desperation both teams are facing going into graduation weekend in Oxford, Miss.

Once again, thanks to all the loyal Cuppers who listen and chimed in with mailbag questions.
