Sure, it's just a play-in game, but it's still technically the NCAA Tournament and Ole Miss is playing in it. IT COUNTS, especially if you ask Andy Kennedy's agent.
The Rebs make their second Big Dance appearance in three years when they face BYU on Tuesday night. The winner earns the right to become the 11-seed and face 6-seeded Xavier on Thursday.
It won't be easy -- BYU is one of the best offenses in the nation, which, considering Ole Miss' recent shooting woes, could be major trouble. The Cougars average 84 points a game, a total the Rebs haven't hit since Feb. 7 against Auburn. It's hard to be optimistic about a team that's lost four of the last five and had the wheels come off in the SEC Tournament, but there's a reason they call it March Madness.
