Welcome to College Football Saturday Week 7 Edition. Auburn and Kentucky went on Thursday night, and I believe one of those teams ended up winning the match. Without caring to consult the actual box score, we're gonna have to assume that many big plays on offense occurred and probably Will Muschamp exploded an eye vein.
The Memphis Tigers find themselves in the rather strange position of playing on a Saturday afternoon, what with the AAC's insistence on offering up midweek trapeze acts that consistently go for over 100 points. No matter, though, since Justin Fuente will have his gritty, anti-landgrant scrapsters ready to go for all-out war regardless of when the fight occurs. Our own Gray Hardison has warned against Paxton Lynch's big arm and giraffe-like anatomy, while Jeff Gray expects a vertical air raid circus.
In addition to the Liberty Bowlapalooza, a handful of conference brawls are going down, and the country's most detested rivalry blasts off in South Bend.

No. 10 Alabama at No. 9 Texas A&M
Verne and Gary continue 2015's roadshow live from College Station, where the 12th Man's Head Yell Leader (an actual, elected office in Texas' higher education regency, I assume) exhorts Aggie fans to HISS instead of BOO your disproval of Lane Kiffin's oversized windbreaker. Like The Best Fans In Baseball, Mr. Yell Leader approves of only the classiest hate in his house. Tune in and root for a catastrophic geological event.

No. 7 Michigan State at No. 12 Michigan
It's always interesting to see whether Jim Harbaugh can suffer a coronary on live television, especially since a blowout win or minor clock mismanagement can set him off in equal measure. I mean, dude's up 31-0 against Northwestern here:

No. 8 Florida at No. 6 LSU
The Bayou Tigers have been playing excellent football so far, and if Les Miles is gonna Les Miles himself and the team this year, a home stand against a helluva good Gator squad is just the time to do it. The people want hilariously bad clock management and dubious fourth-and-run calls, Les, and you will give the people what they want.

USC at No. 14 Notre Dame
In light of Steve Sarkisian's sudden dismissal and entrance into treatment this week, USC's football program holds something of a Dickensian element this season. How will the players respond after such a chaotic few months? That all hell broke loose in LA during the week of Notre Dame preparations adds a curious layer to this year's rivalry game.
