Welcome back to Oxford, Memphis Tigers fans. It sure has been a while, and while we've got mixed feelings about re-establishing the "tradition rich" series we've had for several decades now, we definitely don't have mixed feelings about your chances today.
Sure, Memphis has improved a lot over the past few seasons, and even put a scare in UCLA on the road, but that won't matter too much today. This ain't the Tommy West-led, DeAngelo Williams-powered Memphis Tigers of yore, just as we aren't the David Cutcliffian play-down-to-the-competition Rebels of those times. Beating Memphis should be a foregone conclusion at Ole Miss - even Ed Orgeron was perfect against them - and with this football team I don't think that's at all unreasonable.
Hotty Toddy, Beat Memphis, and get to 4-0 for the first time in a long time.
