Cameron Ordway commits to Ole Miss

Ordway is a corner with range and length.

Hugh Freeze received a commitment from another of the Volunteer State's top players in rangy cornerback Cameron Ordway. Orway is the 4th Tennessee commitment for the Rebels' 2015 class, joining blue-chip OT Drew Richmond, underrated OT Alex Givens, and 4-star CB Ugo Amadi.

Ordway is an exciting prospect for a lot of reasons. Not only has Hugh Freeze continued his emphasis on signing high school cornerbacks (something that evaded previous coaching staffs, even recruiting guru Ed Orgeron), but Ordway might be a much more promising recruit than his star ranking (Ordway's ranking averages 3 stars) might indicate. His offer sheet, if accurate, is one of the more impressive ones in the country, touting offers from Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Ohio State, FSU, Clemson, Michigan, Tennessee, and others. Listed at 6'0 tall, Ordway also continues an emphasis by the Ole Miss coaching staff on recruiting taller corners.

Ordway, it's worth mentioning, plays for Giles County, in Pulaski, TN. Pulaski, you might recall, is the home of Bo Wallace.
