Bovada has released their odds for individual performances in the SEC, and Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace and wide receiver Laquon Treadwell are favored to do quite well this season per the Vegas oddsmakers.
When looking at who will have the most passing and rushing yards, total, Auburn's Nick Marshall is the odd's on favorite (1/1), while Bo Wallace is at 6/5 and Mississippi State's Dak Prescott is at 7/5. Those odds are identical for who will have the most total passing and rushing touchdowns as well.
That means that, if you wanna make some money on this bet, don't bet on Nick, Dr. Bo, or Dak.
Laquon Treadwell is the odd's on favorite to have the most receiving yards in the SEC this year, with a 7/4 chance that he finishes tops in the conference. Behind him are Alabama's Amari Cooper (2/1 odds) and Auburn's Sammie Coates (13/4 odds). Treadwell is second, however, in who is the most likely to receive the most touchdowns this year, coming in at 11/5 behind Cooper at 2/1.
I'm not a gambler, but if I were, I would have to think that this means big things out of Bo and Laquon this year. Vegas does a pretty good job with these things -- mainly because they have a significant financial incentive against doing otherwise -- so if they're expecting a successful Rebel passing attack, then we fans can reasonably expect the same.
