Ole Miss baseball had a solid run of TV series there for a while, but that comes to an end this weekend as they host Georgia at Swayze. None of the three games -- each of which is critical in maininting a lead atop the SEC West -- will be televised. The good news, of course, is that you'll be able to tune in with Rebelvision, which, let's be honest, is probably of higher quality than a damn CSS broadcast anyway.
At 15-9 in conference, the Rebs are on top of the division standings. While 13-10-1 LSU (who takes on Alabama this weekend) remains a threat, it's actually Mississippi State who's surged into second place and now sits just one game back at 14-10. State plays a bad Tennessee team this weekend, so it's imperative the Rebs take at least two from Georgia to stay in front.
Taking two from Georgia (9-14-1 SEC) didn't sound like much of a task… until the Bulldogs grabbed bookend wins to take a series from South Carolina last week. That should serve as a nice reminder for the Rebs not to look past them this weekend.
