Oxford Regional 2014: Day 1 Open Thread

Here's the schedule for today's games at Swayze:

Game 1: #3 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets vs. #2 Washington Huskies- 3 p.m. CT

Game 2: #4 Jacksonville State Gamecocks vs. YOOOOOOUR #1. Ole Miss Rebels- 7 p.m. CT

While the Rebs won't play until later tonight, the first game of the day should be a doozy, providing some insight on the other teams and how the Rebs might fare against either one. I plan to be at both games in LF while I think Catfish Powe-Boy is already staked out in front of the RF gates to get his chairs down.

Bring your cooler, rain jacket and hecklin' voice because it should be a long but great day of baseball in Oxford.
