Ole Miss vs. Mississippi State baseball: How to watch and open thread

This is the only baseball open thread that matters, y'all.

It's the Egg Bowl, baseball edition! Ole Miss has had mixed results against Mississippi State in the other major sports this school year, suffering a throw-your-TV-out-the-window loss in football and splitting a pair of hoops matchups. While taking a series on the diamond sure as hell won't make up for the gridiron disaster, it would be a nice start.

And you know the best part about playing the Bulldogs in baseball? Bo Wallace won't be around to fumble the game away!

After coming into the season ranked in the top 10, State stumbled out of the gates to an 11-7 start in non-con play. They've gotten things together a bit since then, climbing to 21-13 and as high as No. 17 in the major polls. They sit at 6-6 in SEC action, having won their first three weekends before being swept by LSU last week in Baton Rouge.

The Rebs sit at 27-8 (7-5 SEC) and are ranked as high as No. 13. Baseball America is the only one of the major polls that have State ranked above Ole Miss, because Aaron Fitt is a big jerk face.

Saturday's game will be on FSN and WatchESPN, but your viewing options are limited for the other two since State isn't sharing their live stream with Rebelvision (what'd you expect?). You'll still be able to listen to the radio broadcast for those games on Rebelvision, at least. If you're really desperate to watch, I suppose you could buy a month's subscription to Hail State TV for $12.95, but you might as well be stuffing that cash into the pockets of Bulldog football croots, amirite?
