How to watch Ole Miss vs. Kentucky basketball 2014: TV, radio and online

The Rebels' tournament résumé is in drastic need of an upgrade, and Tuesday's trip to Lexington provides a golden opportunity. Also, Jared Lorenzen is still playing football.

Andy Kennedy told the Clarion Ledger earlier this week that his Ole Miss squad still has "opportunities on the horizon" to play itself into the NCAA Tournament. I'll stifle the LULZ long enough to agree that yes, there are a few of the aforementioned opportunities -- three of them exactly -- and one of them arrives Tuesday night in the form of a trip to No. 18 Kentucky.

The SEC is awful in roundball this year, and even with their 6-2 conference record, the Rebels are currently on the wrong side of the bubble (USA Today has them as one of the last four out). Their best win is currently LSU so they're in desperate need of a signature victory. That means the Rebs will need to take at least one of the three matchups against ranked opponents remaining on their schedule: a home-and-away with Kentucky and vs. No. 3 Florida.

All that to say, Tuesday's trip to Lexington has immense postseason implications. Ole Miss will have a much better chance at beating the Wildcats in Oxford on Feb. 18, but stealing a win in Rupp Arena would work wonders for their Dance résumé.

*** We now interrupt this basketball segment with some very rare but very important Kentucky football news: Jared Lorenzen, the Hefty Lefty, is WAY heftier and still playing quarterback somewhere:

The fellas at SB Nation found this photo of Lorenzen on Twitter and did an awesome job of retracing his football life since "winning" a Super Bowl ring as Eli Manning's backup in 2008. He's been alternately serving as a coach, player, commissioner and player (in that order) in various arena football leagues, and despite weighing over 300 pounds, is still chuckin' the pigskin. You're gonna want to click over and check that out.

When you get back, here are the details for watching the basketball game.
