Ole Miss Rebels to Face TCU Horned Frogs in Peach Bowl

For me personally, this was the dream scenario. I'm utterly thrilled.

Well then... um... this is awkward.

The #9 Rebels will be facing the #6 TCU Horned Frogs, headed by quarterback Trevone Boykin, a (longshot) Heisman contender, in Atlanta on New Year's Eve.

It's a huge testament to the excellent year the Rebels had, having gone 9-3 in the regular season. While Ole Miss has already played in Atlanta this season, I don't imagine attendance will be anything less than stellar. I know I'm going and have already talked to a multitude of people who will be joining. I can't speak for all the members of the Cup's writing crew, but Ghost, Whiskey, and I will definitely be there.

TCU's team is pretty great, which isn't necessarily something I wanted (i'm a fan of easily winnable bowl games), but whatever. Ole Miss has played and beaten several great teams this year. TCU will just be another test.

But a test they will be. The Horned Frogs boast the #2 scoring offense and #16 scoring defense nationally. That's.... pretty solid.

So what do you think? Good matchup?
