Junior College Cornerback Tony Bridges Flips from Auburn to Ole Miss

The consensus four-star prospect has two years to play.

Mississippi native and MS Gulf Coast CC standout cornerback Tony Bridges has dumped the Auburn Tigers for the Ole Miss Rebels.

Tony Bridges is listed as a 6'2" 185 pound corner, he's considered the top junior college cornerback in 247Sports' composite rankings. He's praised for being lengthy and fast, making him a valuable asset in an SEC West that's becoming increasingly populated with obscenely talented wide receivers. Bridges should compete for playing time at cornerback right away, even though the position will be a fairly crowded one next season. Even with Senquez Golson graduating, Ole Miss returns Mike Hilton, Kendarius Webster, and a healthy Tee Shepard to the depth chart.

Bridges marks the 14th commitment in the Rebel recruiting class and the ninth ranked four stars or higher by 247Sports. Further telling to the quality of this 2015 class is that Ole Miss, despite having almost ten fewer commits than most teams have at this point, boasts a top-20 class per most recruiting services.
