Ole Miss' NCAA chances improving | The Clarion-Ledger
After winning four straight SEC contests, the Rebels' RPI is now in the top-60. Tomorrow night, the Rebs play another top-60 RPI team in Tennessee. Being that this game's in Knoxville, it has tremendous implications on Ole Miss' tournament chances. Now at 5-1 in the SEC, the Rebs have a better-than-good shot to finish with double-digit conference wins, but we're thinking they might need as many as 13 or 14 to fall on the right side of the bubble given a home loss to Mercer and a very weak Southeastern Conference.
SEC Power Rankings: Ole Miss rises through ranks | FOX Sports
Fox Sports has the Rebels as No. 3 in their SEC basketball power rankings, which is generous if you're going by any other metric aside from conference record. The Rebs are 5-1 thus far against SEC foes, but have not yet played a team in the top half of these very rankings.
5-star WR Malachi Dupre visiting Ole Miss | FanSided
The No. 1 high school wide receiver and Louisiana native is in Oxford on an official visit to Ole Miss. His player host is last year's No. 1 wide receiver, Laquon Treadwell. It'll be tough, if not impossible, to pull Dupre away from LSU, but a fan can dream, right?
Breeland Speaks reaffirms pledge to Ole Miss | The Clarion-Ledger
Well maybe LSU should have, you know, not offered him late like he's some sort of contingency plan or something. Good on Breeland and good on Ole Miss for keeping him.
Do Y'all Want to Change the Rec'd Posts?
SB Nation has given its blogs the opportunity to change the color scheme of our comments sections. Most notably, we can now alter the color of a rec'd post (as well as the thumbs up icon that goes with it). Here's what that looks like on Amazin' Avenue, SB Nation's New York Met's site:
We could do something like that here, with a blue post being a rec'd post with a red thumbs up icon. Or, really, whatever y'all want it to be. I do know, though, that y'all like greening and being green'd, so if y'all wanna keep it the way it is then that's totally fine by me.
Here, vote on it:
