That's a lot of red...

Here's a time lapse video of the Ole Miss crowd against SEMO. Nice work, y'all.

Ole Miss pushing for $10M more for renovations, new arena | EotC
So, who among you has ten million dollars lying about that the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation is free to use? Help us get this basketball arena construction underway if you could. Thanks.

Jordan Holder helps fellow Ole Miss walk-on in need | USA Today (as written by the EotC)
Senior wide receiver Jordan Holder was offered a scholarship before fall camp. He had put in his work as a walk on for so long - and has actually earned significant playing time out of the slot - that the coaches felt he had earned it. But Holder didn't actually need the scholarship, so he gave it to walk-on tight end Justin Bigham so that he could stay enrolled in school.

Reports: Manny Diaz fired after BYU beatdown, Greg Robinson new DC | Burnt Orange Nation
Manny Diaz is out as Texas' DC after the Longhorns gave up 500+ yards to the BYU Cougars. Replacing him will be Greg Robinson. If you've been paying attention, you'll remember that Greg Robinson was the Michigan DC who allowed Mississippi State to score 50+ on them in the Gator Bowl a few years back. I'll let you draw your own conclusions on this one.

Commentary: What BYU can learn from Ole Miss and Notre Dame about tailgating | Deseret News
BYU, who beat the Texas Longhorns last weekend causing a downward spiral in Austin that will either greatly benefit or hinder our Rebels this weekend, wants to improve their tailgating. They've looked to Ole Miss for inspiration in this respect, and even implemented their own "Walk of Champions" this past weekend. They're calling it the "Cougar Walk" (minds out of the gutter, kids) but, conceptually, it's the same thing... And now I just remembered how Houston Nutt coached an Ole Miss team that blew a double-digit lead to BYU at home. Ugh.

Souza, Rebels Tie #13 Trojans in 2OT Slugfest - Red Cup Rebellion FanPosts
The Lady Rebels have played admirably on the soccer pitch this season thus far, tying the #13 USC Trojans 1-1 this past weekend. This is a huge step forward for this program which has lost seven straight matches against top-25 competition. [HT: Ezio2]
