Well, this is pretty bad news.
Freeze said post-practice that wide receiver Vincent Sanders hurt his shoulder during drills. Left early for x-ray, awaiting results.

Vincent Sanders had his shoulder X-rayed. This much we know to be true. In addition, a source close to the Cup has informed us that he could miss up to eight weeks as a result due to a fracture. Nothing official has confirmed this rumor*, but if it is indeed true then this would be a serious blow to the Rebel offense for the early part of the 2013 season - which, due to the schedule, is precisely when we'll need all hands on deck to be successful.
Sanders started 12 games at receiver for the Rebs last season, catching 39 passes for 504 yards and four scores. If he misses much of the season due to this injury, I would expect freshmen Laquon Treadwell or Quincy Adeboyejo to pick up most of his snaps.
*Yes, it's a rumor at this point until it's officially confirmed or denied. We're just sharing some information from a person we trust. Take it for what it's worth.
EDIT: Yep, it's broken alright.
RT @SpiritChuck: Bad news: Rebel WR Vincent Sanders has a broken collarbone. Surgery required. Out 6-8 weeks.

Very unfortunate. Get well soon, Vincent.
