Fadol Brown, a 6'5", 270 pound defensive end from Itawamba Community College, has committed to transfer to Ole Miss, where he will be eligible to play beginning in 2014. The end, who is originally out of Charleston, South Carolina, signed with Florida International out of high school, but left when Panthers head coach Mario Cristobal was fired.
He cited his relationships with the Ole Miss players and coaches as his reason for deciding to go with the Rebs, mentioning in particular his interactions with Robert Nkemdiche as playing a role in his decision. Brown will have to sit out a year due to the NCAA's transfer rules, but has the size and skill to contribute early and often in 2014.
